The partner cities Saarburg and Sarrebourg are deepening their long-standing friendship with a special German-French partnership exhibition by the Sarrebourg photography club. Under the title “Regards croisés / Blickwinkel” the Amüseum at the waterfall in Saarburg invites you to a photo exhibition starting on November 9 that provides a unique perspective on the two cities connected by friendship. The exhibition showcases snapshots from both cities that capture their similarities and differences in a visual connection. Visitors can look forward to an exciting change of perspective on central motifs of urban life. From town halls to train stations to barracks: Together yet different The presented photos focus on important locations and symbols of both cities, from architecture to art, with the perspective constantly shifting between Saarburg and Sarrebourg, juxtaposing the locations or symbols. "I am thrilled by the creativity and commitment of the Sarrebourg photography club. This exhibition is a warm invitation to all citizens from Saarburg and Sarrebourg to view the beauty of our cities from a new perspective. Let the images inspire you and celebrate this special friendship with us," says city mayor Andreas Reymann. The Photo Club Sarrebourg meets regularly to exchange knowledge, organize courses as well as exhibitions or participate in competitions, photo excursions, and reports in the region. The exhibition impressively highlights the vibrant German-French connection between the two partner cities, which has existed for over 73 years. The exhibition can be visited during the opening hours of the Amüseum from Sunday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
